John Penek, M.D., has 30 years experience in the practice of pulmonary diseases, sleep disorders and critical care medicine. He is also an experienced expert witness. For the past 25 years, Dr. Penek has served as a medical-legal consultant in thousands of cases including independent medical exams, reports, depositions and court testimony, throughout the country. Dr. Penek has been engaged by both plaintiff and defense attorneys.
Dr. Penek is a board-certified diplomate of the National Board of Medical Examiners of the U.S., the American Board of Internal Medicine, Subspecialty Board – Pulmonary Diseases, and the American Board of Sleep Medicine. He is a fellow of the American College of Chest Physicians and the American Academy of Sleep Medicine, and is a member of the American Academy of Disability Evaluating Physicians. Dr. Penek has also been a diplomate of the American Board of Internal Medicine-Sleep Medicine since 2007. |
